On August 29, SeAH Steel Holdings celebrated its 7th anniversary with a commemorative ceremony and a series of special events. The first session of the event featured a commemorative speech, award presentation for long-serving and exemplary employees, and introductions of new members. The second session featured a charity auction, with all proceeds donated to share the spirit of giving.

The event concluded with congratulatory remarks from the management team, a luncheon, and a raffle draw, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

SeAH Besteel’s Safety Team has completely revamped the company’s dust mask—the most essential piece of protective equipment—to safeguard employees’ respiratory health from dust and other harmful particles, and has been distributing the new model since August. The design focused on two key principles, including “complete protection” and “comfortable wearability.”

The new mask features an internal support frame and high-performance sealing fabric for improved protection and comfort, as well as an anti-contamination handle and a foldable design for greater usability. This improvement is expected to significantly enhance safety conditions across work sites.

On September 11, SeAH CSS signed an MOU with POSCO to establish a domestic titanium recycling ecosystem. Under this agreement, POSCO will supply scrap materials generated during its production process to SeAH CSS, which will, in turn, use them to produce and supply cost-effective, high-quality ingots and slabs back to POSCO.

The two companies plan to expand their partnership in businesses involving titanium alloys and special alloys across sectors such as aerospace, defense, and energy, while jointly responding to growing market demand.

The Pohang plant organized an event under the theme, “Our Team’s Mini Garden – Terrarium and Houseplant Workshop” to promote ESG values and sustainable practices. Employees created their own terrariums using succulents and air-purifying plants, experiencing the joy of raising together and reflecting on the importance of the environment.

The plants were displayed on office partitions, which added a touch of nature to the workspace and encouraged more conversation among colleagues. This initiative embodied the “Act” phase of SeAH Special Steel’s ESG slogan, “Sustainable Eco Act Harmony (SEAH)”, promoting an ESG culture that engages all employees.

SeAH Coated Metal has filed a trademark application to the Ministry of Intellectual Property for its new color-coated steel product, MIRROR COAT. This marks SeAH Coated Metal’s first-ever trademark filing for a product brand, officially establishing MIRROR COAT as a legally protected brand. The review process is expected to conclude in November, after which trademark rights will be secured for ten years upon registration.

The company aims to further develop MIRROR COAT as one of its core competitive advantages following its trademark registration.
