SeAH continues to show genuine care for marginalized groups and underserved communities, putting its commitment to meaningful giving into practice. Most recently, the company partnered with the social enterprise-in-preparation NANUM VITAMIN to complete a digital donation campaign for children at risk of hunger. Named the “One Meal Gift” campaign, it became a heartfelt initiative where SeAH employees shared both warm meals and compassion.
The “One Meal Gift” campaign, jointly organized by SeAH and NANUM VITAMIN, delivered meals to children in cities where SeAH’s headquarters and local factories are located, including Pohang, Gunsan, Changwon, and Chungju. What made the project especially meaningful was not only the broad participation of employees across all SeAH affiliates but also its unique model of experiencing the act of giving. Going beyond simple donations, the initiative was designed for real-time interaction and feedback, embodying a true “community care” approach.
Donations were made through SeAH’s dedicated digital platform, “SeAH with NANUM VITAMIN.” Employees could select a meal option—such as rice bowls, chicken, or pork belly—and the platform automatically issued a mobile meal coupon of equivalent value, matched one-to-one with a child in need. Donors then received real-time photos of children enjoying the meal and thank-you notes via KakaoTalk, ensuring both transparency and a meaningful emotional connection. This real-time digital feedback system has been highly praised for delivering a moving experience to donors while strengthening the sustainability of giving.
In total, more than 300 employees participated, raising approximately 9 million KRW. Over 400 mobile meal coupons were delivered directly to children, and all donation records were transparently disclosed through Nanum Vitamin’s NABE.YAM platform.
Through this collaboration, SeAH advanced a model of employee-driven, community-rooted ESG that goes beyond traditional corporate social responsibility. In particular, the initiative is especially meaningful as it directly connects SeAH’s regional business sites with local children.
Looking ahead, SeAH will continue to pursue practical, everyday ESG initiatives. The company is committed to developing diverse CSR opportunities that allow employees to naturally integrate sharing and giving into their daily lives.
