SeAH’s 2025 brand film “I’m STEEL Here” has won the world-renowned Red Dot Design Award in the Brand & Communication Design category. Hosted by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the top three global design awards, along with the IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards) in the United States and the iF Design Award in Germany. Winners are selected through rigorous evaluations across three categories: Product Design, Brand & Communication Design, and Design Concept.
This marks SeAH’s second Red Dot Design Award, following 2023. It is also the first time a Korean steel company in the B2B sector has received the honor twice.
SeAH has consistently strengthened its brand value through the annual production of brand films that reflect its identity and philosophy. Through previous works such as “We Are Changing”, “MY HERO”, and “FLY, CHANGE AND GROW”, SeAH has shared its spirit and vision as a steel material manufacturing corporate that aspires to build a better world.
The award-winning film “I’m STEEL Here” tells the story of a young boy who, after encountering a steel-made toy figure named “Captain SeAH”, begins to dream of exploring space. The film metaphorically conveys the enduring and sustainable value of steel—an essential material not only in traditional industries but also in future advanced industries such as space, aerospace, and renewable energy. It was praised for its emotional storytelling, cinematic quality reminiscent of a short film, and an original soundtrack that highlights the constant presence of steel in human life.
Winning the Red Dot Design Award is significant, as it once again brings global recognition to SeAH’s creativity and storytelling capabilities. SeAH will continue to communicate its brand values by producing contents that resonates with the public.
